Approve grant award Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. 24-289 (Award No. 6 UT8HA33958-05-02), from the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration for the Ending the HIV Epidemic: A Plan for America - Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Parts A and B, increasing the amount by $1,645,787 from $913,428 to $2,559,215, for the period of March 1, 2024 through February 28, 2025.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. 24-289, in the amount of $1,645,787 from the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) does not require a local match. Adequate appropriation and revenue was included in the Department of Public Health's (DPH) 2023-24 budget and has been included in the 2024-25 budget.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Ending the HIV Epidemic: A Plan for America - Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Parts A and B (Ending the Epidemic) funds efforts to reduce new HIV infections throughout the United States.
