RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve End User Software License Agreement, including non-standard terms, with the California Department of Education and California Department of Social Services, for access and use of Desired Results Developmental Profile Online(c), software containing Desired Results Developmental Profile(c), and assessment for Data Sharing, for the period beginning August 22, 2023 and continuing until terminated by either party.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
The recommended Software License agreement is non-financial in nature and as such, does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost).

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Preschool Services Department (PSD) operates the Early Head Start, Head Start, Early Head Start - Child Care Partnership (EHS-CCP), California Department of Education (CDE) and California Department of Social Services (CDSS), and State Preschool programs serving approximately 3,095 children through direct and indirect services in locations throughout the county. The programs provide education, health, nutrition, cognitive, social/emotional, physical growth and development, and parent involvement services for children ages 0 to 5 with the overall goal of increasing family engagement and school readiness of young children in economically disadvantaged families.
