RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 1 to Revenue Agreement No. 22-554 with The Center for Comprehensive Care & Diagnosis of Inherited Blood Disorders to decrease the revenue amount to be paid to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center by $1,047,863, from $1,571,795 to $523,932, with no change to the term of the latter of July 1, 2022 or the date on which Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is notified that the State has allocated funds for the project, through June 30, 2025.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost) as the costs for services provided at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) will be reimbursed up to $523,932 by The Center for Comprehensive Care & Diagnosis of Inherited Blood Disorders (CIBD). Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the ARMC 2023-24 budget and are included in the 2024-25 recommended budget.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 (Amendment) to Revenue Agreement No. 22-554 (Agreement) with CIBD will allow ARMC to continue to participate in providing services for sickle cell disease patients throughout the county.
