Recommendation
Approve a non-financial Memorandum of Understanding with the Hope Through Housing Foundation to exchange limited student information for the period of February 12, 2020 through January 31, 2025.

This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is non-financial; therefore, it does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost).
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Hope Through Housing Foundation (HTHF) provides various social services to low and moderate-income residents in the County of San Bernardino and beyond, including residents of the Olive Meadow and Valencia Vista residential communities at Arrowhead Grove (formerly Waterman Gardens) in San Bernardino. In an effort to gain a better understanding of the academic performance and/or attendance of the residents aged 0 to 5 years in Head Start, the Preschool Services Department (PSD) will share certain limited data with HTHF regarding Head Start students and families.
PSD will provide data to HTHF twice per year, submitting the initial data at the start of the calendar year, and the second set of data at the start of the school year (July or August). The information provided to HTHF will not include any specific or personal identifying information. The information shared will be limited to:
