RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Acting as the governing body of the Inland Counties Emergency Medical Agency, approve Authorization Agreement with the City of Victorville to provide Basic and Advance Life Support non-transport services within the corporate limits of the City of Victorville, and during mutual aid responses, for a period of five years, effective March 30, 2024 through March 29, 2029, in the amount dictated by applicable annual fees.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Annual fees for medical oversight, currently $2,000 per year, are applicable and revenue has been included in Inland Counties Emergency Medical Agency's (ICEMA) 2023-24 budget and will be included future recommended budgets.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
ICEMA, as the local Emergency Medical Services (EMS) agency, is responsible for ensuring effective EMS for the Counties of San Bernardino, Inyo, and Mono. ICEMA administers State and local codes and regulations governing the provision of emergency medical care to the sick and injured at the scene of an emergency and during transport to a care hospital.
