RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 5 to Contract No. 20-99 with Agiliti Imaging, Inc. to update the equipment list for maintenance and service of medical imaging equipment, resulting in a decrease of $13,359, from $3,280,575 to a total contract amount of $3,267,216, with no change in the contract term of May 1, 2020 through April 30, 2025.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The amendment will reduce the cost of the total contract amount by $13,359, and is funded by State Medi-Cal, Federal Medicare, private insurances, and other departmental revenue. Funding sources may change in the future pending any legislative activity related to the repeal and/or replacement of the Affordable Care Act. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2023-24 budget and will be included in 2024-25 recommended budget.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
This amendment will allow ARMC to update the equipment list under Contract No. 20-99 by removing two pieces of medical imaging equipment (the SIREMOBILE Iso-C, and FLUROSCA Insight 2), which are at the end of life, that receive preventative maintenance and service, and adding one different piece of medical imaging equipment (the Radspeed PRO) to receive preventative maintenance and service.
