RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Acting as the governing body of the San Bernardino County Flood Control District:
1. Conduct a public hearing on proposed ordinance that repeals San Bernardino County Flood Control District Ordinance No. FCD 20-01, which established the current fees, and adopts the new 2022 San Bernardino County Flood Control District Fee Ordinance that sets forth the fees to be charged by the San Bernardino County Flood Control District on and after July 1, 2022 for its various products and services.
2. Make alterations, if necessary, to proposed ordinance.
3. Approve introduction of proposed ordinance.
* An ordinance of the San Bernardino County Flood Control District, State of California, to repeal Ordinance No. FCD 20-01 and to establish fees related to products and services.
4. SCHEDULE ORDINANCE FOR FINAL ADOPTION ON TUESDAY, APRIL 12, 2022 on the Consent Calendar.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). This action will allow the San Bernardino County Flood Control District (District) to establish a fee structure in order to recover costs associated with providing product and services to the public. Fees for the District are estimated to generate approximately $1.8 million in revenue for 2022-23. Sufficient appropriation and revenue will be included in the District's recommended 2022-23 budget....
