Recommendation
Approve Program Supplement Agreement No. F162 to Master Agreement No. 08-5954F15 with the State of California Department of Transportation, to provide $2,560,000 in federal Community Project Funding/Congressionally Directed Spending funds toward the $4,012,179 costs for the Construction phase of the Little Third Street and Little Tippecanoe Avenue Improvement Project.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The total estimated cost to construct roadway improvements on Little Third Street, from Palm Lane east to Little Tippecanoe Avenue as well as along Little Tippecanoe Avenue, from Little Third Street north to Tippecanoe Avenue (Project) in the San Bernardino area is $4,012,179. The Project will be funded with $2,560,000 from federal Community Project Funding/Congressionally Directed Spending (CPFCDS) funds allocated by Congress and administered by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), and the local match of $1,452,179 from Measure "I" Local Streets Program - San Bernardino Valley Subarea funds. Sufficient appropriation and revenue are included in the Department of Public Works (Department) 2024-25 Road Operations Budget (6650002000 H15122) and will be included in future recommended budgets, as needed.
