RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Authorize the Director of the Project and Facilities Management Department to utilize the Design-Build project delivery method pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 22160 et seq., and in accordance with County Policy 11-16, for the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Parking Structure Project.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) Parking Structure Project (Project) (WBSE 10.10.1924) has a total budget of $52,510,997, which is fully funded through the ARMC Enterprise Fund. The project budget was approved by the Board of Supervisors on June 10, 2025 (Item No. 136), as part of the 2025-26 Capital Improvement Program budget.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Project will be located on the south side of the ARMC campus and is anticipated to be approximately 572,000 square feet in size, accommodating up to 1,600 vehicles. This new multi-story parking structure will significantly enhance functionality and convenience for both ARMC staff and the public by relieving existing congestion and expanding overall parking availability.
