RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Ratify grant application submitted by the Office of Emergency Services to the City of Riverside for Fiscal Year 2019 Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI) grant funding in the amount of $110,000 for continued support and expansion of the WebEOC software capabilities.
2. Accept grant award in the amount of $110,000 from the City of Riverside for Fiscal Year 2019 UASI funding to continue to support and expand the WebEOC software capabilities with a grant performance period of September 1, 2019 through May 31, 2022.
3. Authorize the Emergency Services Manager to execute the grant award letter and submit the document to the City of Riverside to secure the grant funding.
4. Approve Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the City of Riverside - Office of Emergency Services regarding the Fiscal Year 2019 UASI grant funding terms and conditions.
5. Adopt the "Proof of Authority", as required by the MOU with the City of Riverside - Office of Emergency Services, in which the Board of Supervisors, on behalf of the County, agrees to the following:
a. Any liability arising out of the performance of the MOU shall be the responsibility of the County and the Board of Supervisors;
b. Grant funds shall not be used to supplant expenditures controlled by the Board of Supervisors; and
c. The official executing the MOU is, in fact, authorized to do so.
6. Adopt resolution authorizing the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, Chief Executive Officer, San Bernardino County Fire Protection District (SBCFPD) Fire Chief/Fire Warden, SBCFPD Deputy Fire Chief/Fire Warden, and/or Emergency Services Manager of the San Bernardino Co...
