RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Acting as the governing body of County Service Area 70 J Oak Hills, approve a professional engineering design and service contract with Albert A. Webb Associates, in the amount of $472,255, and a five-year contract term of July 23, 2024 through July 23, 2029, for the design of construction plans and specifications for the County Services Area 70 J Oaks Hills - Reservoir 3A Site Expansion Project.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost) as all costs, including the recommended professional engineering design and services contract, for the County Service Area 70J Oak Hills (District) - Reservoir 3A Site Expansion Project (Project) will be funded by the District through revenue from service charges. Sufficient appropriation for the Project is included in the District's 2024-25 Capital Improvement Program budget and will be included in future recommended budgets, as needed.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The District, established by the Board on December 28, 1971, to provide water services, currently provides for the maintenance and operation of over 3,200 water connections, wells, booster stations, storage reservoirs, and over 130 miles of water pipeline. The District is managed and adm...
