RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 22-310 with Abundant Living Family Church - High Desert, for the provision of non-emergency transportation services for individuals recently released from the County's High Desert Detention Center, increasing the contract amount by $655,575, from $2,787,099 to a new not to exceed amount of $3,442,674, and extending the term by one year, for a new contract term of April 26, 2022 through April 25, 2027.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The proposed increased amount of $655,575, from the current Contract No. 22-310 (Contract) amount of $2,787,099 to a new not to exceed amount of $3,442,674 is funded utilizing Sheriff/Coroner/Public Administrator's (Department) Assembly Bill 109 (AB 109) funding as approved by the Community Corrections Partnership in 2022. Sufficient appropriation is included in the Department's 2025-26 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
