Operate in a Fiscally-Responsible and Business-Like Manner.
Provide for the Safety, Health and Social Service Needs of County Residents.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). This amendment increases the contract's personnel and equipment rates (Exhibit B) by 3%, thus allowing the San Bernardino County Fire Protection District (SBCFPD) to recover more costs of providing fire and life safety protection services for respective events held at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana. SBCFPD's costs have increased in the past few months due to new Memorandums of Understanding with the San Bernardino County Professional Firefighters, IAFF, Local 935 (approved by the Board of Directors on August 20, 2019 - Item No. 66) and the Association of San Bernardino County Fire Managers (approved by the Board of Directors on November 19, 2019 - Item No. 37).
