Recommendation
Approve Master Subscription Agreement, including non-standard terms, with Aidoc, Inc. for an artificial intelligence operating system in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center Medical Imaging Department, in the total contract amount of $439,875, for the term of September 26, 2023 through September 25, 2026.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost) as the cost of $439,875 will be funded by State Medi-Cal, Federal Medicare, private insurances, and other departmental revenue. Funding sources may change in the future pending any legislative activity related to the repeal and/or replacement of the Affordable Care Act. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2023-24 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The agreement with Aidoc, Inc. (Aidoc) will allow ARMC to obtain an artificial intelligence solution for use in the hospital's Medical Imaging Department to enhance physician workflows and the coordination of care for patients. The artificial intelligence solution provides software modules that analyze medical images directly after the patient is scanned and notifies the attending physicians of suspected critical findings to assist with prioritization of cases.
