Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 1 to Master Agreement No. 4400018924 with AvaSure, LLC, including non-standard terms, for the purchase of mobile telesitter cameras and licensing of live video monitoring software, increasing the contract amount by $100,574, from $810,720 to $911,294, with no change to the term of April 7, 2022 through April 6, 2027.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The cost of $100,574 is funded by State Medi-Cal, Federal Medicare, private insurances, and other departmental revenue. Funding sources may change in the future pending any legislative activity related to the repeal and/or replacement of the Affordable Care Act. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2025-26 budget and 2026-27 recommended budget.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Amendment No. 1 to Master Agreement No. 4400018924 (Master Agreement) with AvaSure, LLC (AvaSure) will increase the mobile telesitter cameras and monitoring software from 18 to 25. This expansion is essential to enhancing patient safety, reducing sitter staffing costs and improving operational efficiency. The mobile cameras can be moved into high risk patient rooms.
