RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 24-950 with KTU&A, for professional engineering design services associated with the Kessler Park Master Plan Phase 1 Project, increasing the total approved contract amount by $225,908, from $851,692 to $1,077,600, for additional design services for the added Dream Field II scope of work, with no change to the contract term of September 24, 2024 through September 24, 2029.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Funding for the Kessler Park Master Plan Phase I Project (Project) was approved by the Board of Supervisors (Board) on September 24, 2024 (Item No. 84) from Discretionary General Funding in the amount of $5,780,700 and funded by General Fund Contingencies. Amendment No. 1 to KTU&A Contract No. 24-950 (Contract) for the Project will be funded by available funds allocated by the Board for the Project. Sufficient appropriation and revenue are included in the 2025-26 budget to the Bloomington Recreation and Park District's (District) Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Project Number 30.30.0185.
