FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this action will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Minor administrative costs associated with updating the Department of Public Works (Department) records, as well as future maintenance costs associated with the subject roads will be funded by Gas Tax revenue. Sufficient appropriation and revenue are available in the Department's 2021-22 Road Operations budget.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Pursuant to Streets and Highways Code section 941, the Board of Supervisors (Board) may accept into the County Maintained Road System (CMRS) roads that are necessary to public convenience. The Department has reviewed the roads located within the boundary of Tract No. 18805, in the Lytle Creek area, and has determined that they are necessary to public convenience. Accepting these roads into the CMRS will ensure the appropriate infrastructure needed to support the existing land use is maintained. Tract No. 18805 was recorded with the Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk on December 8, 2016, in Book 345, pages 73 through 79.
