RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 3 to Contract No. 22-819 with Children's Fund, Incorporated, to support programs and projects for at risk children and youth served by San Bernardino County, increasing the contract amount by $30,000, from $1,627,949 to $1,657,949, with no change to the contract period of September 21, 2022 through June 30, 2026.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item does not require additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The maximum cost for this contract will be $1,657,949 and is funded 80% ($1,326,359) with Realignment funds and 20% ($331,590) with Net County Cost. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Human Services Administrative Claim 2025-26 budget.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Since 2011, Children and Family Services (CFS) has referred at-risk children and youth for programs and services supported by Children's Fund, Incorporated (Children's Fund) as part of a public/private collaboration. These programs and services include clothing, school supplies, orthodontia, groceries, housing and utility assistance, scholarships, computers and training for graduating high school seniors, support for the Independent Living Program for teens in foster care, as well as holiday and birthday gifts for children and youth in foster care.
