RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Continue the Local Emergency Proclamation within San Bernardino County related to the Line Fire, that was initially proclaimed by the Director of Emergency Services on September 7, 2024, and ratified by the Board of Supervisors on September 10, 2024.
2. Continue the Local Emergency Proclamation within San Bernardino County related to the Bridge Fire, that was initially proclaimed by the Director of Emergency Services on September 10, 2024, and ratified by the Board of Supervisors on September 12, 2024.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost) as there is no cost or financial impact associated with the continuation of the local emergencies. However, the County has incurred costs resulting from the local emergencies. These costs could potentially require the use of additional Discretionary General Funding. Should this occur, a future item will be submitted to the Board of Supervisors (Board) for approval.
