RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Approve revenue agreement with Inland Empire Health Plan and IEHP Health Access for the Department of Public Health to provide Behavioral Health Services, for the period of June 1, 2020 through May 31, 2025.
2. Direct the Clerk of the Board to maintain confidentiality of the Agreement pursuant to California Health and Safety Code section 1457(c)(1).

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) will reimburse the Department of Public Health (DPH) for Behavioral Health Services provided to IEHP members on a fee-for-service basis per patient for service(s) rendered. Revenue generated by DPH will depend on the quantity and types of services rendered. DPH's current budget reflects the inclusion of expenditures and revenue related to the expansion of Medi-Cal eligible patients. Sufficient appropriation and revenue have been included in the DPH 2019-20 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
IEHP is one of two entities that have been chosen as a preferred County managed care plan for San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. This recommended agreement is based on a new template that was approved by the IEHP Governing Board in August 2018.
