RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Revenue Agreement with San Bernardino Community College District, to provide testing and instruction to students enrolled in the Peace Officer Standards and Training safety courses at the Sheriff/Coroner/Public Administrator's Frank Bland Regional Training Center, for total maximum revenue of $3,094,875, for a five-year period commencing July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2030.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The Revenue Agreement (Agreement) provides for revenue in the amount of $3.93 per student- instructional hour, not to exceed 157,500 hours per fiscal year, for total annual revenue not to exceed $618,975, for a total revenue agreement amount of $3,094,875. Revenue in the amount of $600,000 is included in the Sheriff/Coroner/Public Administrator's (Department) 2025-2026 budget. A budget adjustment is not requested at this time but will be included in a future budget report brought to the Board of Supervisors (Board) for approval, if necessary. This revenue offsets the cost of instructors, supplies and equipment required to provide courses at the Department's Training Academy.
