RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 2 to grant award Agreement No. 22-30 with the State of California Behavioral Health Service Oversight and Accountability Commission, formerly the Mental Health Services Oversight Accountability Commission for the Behavioral Health Student Services Act, formerly the Mental Health Student Services Act, grant funding to establish or enhance existing mental health partnerships with education entities, reflecting name changes, with no change to the total amount of $5,998,000, and extending the contract term by five months, for a total contract period of February 1, 2022, through June 30, 2026.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The total amount of $5,998,000 from the State of California Behavioral Health Service Oversight and Accountability Commission (BHSOAC) is funded by the Behavioral Health Student Services Act (BHSSA) funds. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Department of Behavioral Health's (DBH) 2025-26 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
