RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Approve employment contract with Christopher Bailey, as a Program Specialist I, for an annual cost of $75,817 ($53,019 Salary, $22,798 Benefits) to provide administrative support under the Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System, effective August 31, 2019 through June 30, 2022.
2. Authorize the Assistant Executive Officer of Human Services or Deputy Executive Officer of Human Services or Director of the Department of Behavioral Health to execute amendments to the contract to extend the contract term for a maximum of two successive one-year periods, on behalf of the County, subject to review by County Counsel.
3. Direct the Assistant Executive Officer of Human Services or Deputy Executive Officer of Human Services or Director of the Department of Behavioral Health to transmit all amendments in relation to this contract to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors within 30 days of execution.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The estimated annual cost of $75,817 will be funded by the Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System. This position is filled by a contract employee as funding for this position is time limited. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Department of Behavioral Health's (DBH) 2019-20 recommended budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
