Adopt ordinance repealing Chapter 47 of Division 2 of Title 1 of the San Bernardino County Code, which was introduced on August 6, 2019, Item No. 54.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The Housing Authority of the County of San Bernardino (HACSB) is a separate legal entity with an annual budget of over $100 million, which operates on a federal fiscal year cycle.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The proposed ordinance was introduced on August 6, 2019, Item No. 54. The recommendation before the Board of Supervisors today will adopt the ordinance on the Consent Calendar. The ordinance repeals Chapter 47 of Division 2 of Title 1 to no longer have a San Bernardino County Housing Commission. On July 9, 2019 (Item No. 14) the Board of Supervisors approved the addition of two tenant members to the Board of Governors for the HACSB and therefore items can no longer be delegated to the Housing Commission. Approval of this item will amend the County Code effective 30 days from today.
