RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Approve Citrix Software License Review Closure Agreement (Letter Agreement) in the amount of $768,600 with Citrix for the following software licenses:
a. 1,400 Citrix Workplace Suite Perpetual Licenses; and
b. 1,400 CSS Select Citrix Workplace Suite 1 Year Licenses.
2. Authorize the Director of Arrowhead Regional Medical Center to sign the Letter Agreement.
3. Direct the Director of Arrowhead Regional Medical Center to transmit the Letter of Agreement to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors within 30 days of execution.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The cost of $768,600 is funded by State Medi-Cal, Federal Medicare, private insurances, and other departmental revenue. Funding sources may change in the future pending any legislative activity related to the repeal and/or replacement of the Affordable Care Act. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2019-20 budget.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Approval of the recommendations will allow the Director of ARMC to sign the Letter Agreement to allow for purchase and payment of 1,400 additional Citrix Workplace Suite Perpetual Licenses at a unit cost of $450, and 1,400 additional CSS Select Citrix Workplace Suite 1 Year Licenses at a unit cost of $99. The Letter Agreement also includes a general release by Citrix for any claims it has against the County through November 5, 2019....
