Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement No. 18-159, Memorandum of Understanding with Riverside County for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Inland Empire Regional Planning Unit to include two additional California Workforce Development Board grant awards with no change to the original term of April 3, 2018 through June 30, 2021.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The Inland Empire Regional Planning Unit (IERPU) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) (Agreement No. 18-159) between Riverside County and San Bernardino County provides the administrative framework for the expenditure of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant funds and does not obligate either county to expend additional funds. The amendment will allow the IERPU MOU to include the two additional grants totaling $459,400 and subgrant agreements. The MOU will allow San Bernardino County to share their Regional Planning Implementation 2.0 grant award in the amount of $300,000 with Riverside County and Riverside County to share their Regional Organizing, Regional Training & Regional Training Coordination grant award in the amount of $159,400 with San Bernardino County.
