RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 3, effective June 3, 2020, to Contract No. 15-276 with Management Information Technology USA, Inc. dba ChildPlus Software, increasing the total amount by $9,600, from $269,047 to $278,647, for continued use of the Direct Administrator Access mobile application for Head Start and State Preschool Programs record keeping and reporting system, with no change to the contract period of June 3, 2015 through June 30, 2021.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The increase of $9,600 for continued use of the Direct Administrator Access mobile application to the record keeping and reporting system is approximately 84% ($8,064) federally funded through the Administration for Children and Families and approximately 16% ($1,536) state funded through the California Department of Education. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Preschool Services Department's (PSD) 2020-21 recommended budget.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The recommended amendment to Contract No. 15-276 with Management Information Technology USA, Inc. dba ChildPlus Software (ChildPlus) increases the contract amount for the continued use of the Direct Administrator Access mobile application to the existing record keeping and reporting system for Head Start and State Preschool Programs. PSD wishes to continue utilizing technology to simplify the preschool enrollment process for parents and guardians....
