Recommendation
Approve Contract with Statistical Research Inc. whereby, the San Bernardino County Museum will receive $46,350 to accept and curate thirteen boxes of archaeological material and five oversized objects of archaeological material from project California Department of Transportation District 8 Crowder Canyon Salvage Data Recovery under Task Order 0817000039 (EA: 08-1H410-3), for the period of June 9, 2020 - June 21, 2021.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The San Bernardino County Museum (SBCM) will receive $46,350 as payment of the repository fee of $2,575 per cubic foot box. Revenue associated with this agreement is not included in the SBCM's 2019-20 budget. Approval of budget adjustments to the SBCM's budget is not requested at this time, but may be included on a future quarterly countywide budget report presented to the Board of Supervisors for approval.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
As a federally recognized repository, Anthropology Division of SBCM will provide curation services for Statistical Research, Inc. in regards to their archaeological collection from the California Department of Transportation California Department of Transportation District 8 Crowder Canyon Salvage Data Recovery under Task Order 0817000039 (EA: 08-1H410-3).
Thirteen boxes of archaeological material and five oversized objects of archaeological material will be accepted and curated into the collections...
