RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Approve Amendment No. 31 to Agreement No. 08-64 with Inland Empire Health Plan and Health Access, to extend the expiration date by three months, from June 30, 2020, through September 30, 2020, to ensure continued reimbursement by Inland Empire Health Plan and Health Access for certain Medi-Cal and Medicare member patients provided at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
2. Direct the Clerk of the Board to maintain confidentiality of the Agreement pursuant to Health and Safety Code section 1457(c)(1).

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of the recommended Amendment with Inland Empire Health Plan and Health Access (collectively referred to as "IEHP") will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Expenditures for these services are funded through reimbursements by IEHP. Funding sources may change in the future pending any legislative activity related to the repeal and/or replacement of the Affordable Care Act. Sufficient appropriation and revenue has been included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2020-21 Recommended Budget.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
On January 29, 2008 (Item No. 66), the Board of Supervisors (Board) approved Agreement No. 08-64 with IEHP for the provision of healthcare services to eligible IEHP members. The Board has since approved 30 amendments to this Agreement that include: extending the term, expanding medical serv...
