RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Revenue Agreement with the California Department of Food and Agriculture, Plant Health and Pest Prevention Services/Pest Exclusion Division (State Agreement No. 20-0415-000-SA) for the Department of Agriculture/Weights & Measures to continue to provide nursery site inspections on behalf of the State from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021, for a total amount not to exceed $11,622.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The revenue agreement specifies a term from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021, for a maximum reimbursement of $11,622. Sufficient appropriation and revenue have been included in the Department of Agriculture/Weights & Measures (AWM) 2020-21 recommended budget. Services per the revenue agreement will be fulfilled by existing AWM staff.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
This revenue agreement with the California Department of Food and Agriculture, Plant Health and Pest Prevention Services/Pest Exclusion Division (CDFA, PHPPS/Pest Exclusion) will authorize AWM to continue to perform inspection services for the state related to the Nursery Inspection Program for a maximum reimbursement of $11,622 from July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021.
