Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 2 to contract No. 15-445 with Abboud Diamond Construction, Inc. in the amount of $28,369.70 increasing the construction contract from $765,874 to a total of $794,243.70 for Onyx Peak Solar Upgrade Project located in Onyx Peak, Big Bear (APN 0305-201-05). (Four Votes required)

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of Amendment No. 2 will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General funding (Net County Cost). The Project budget of $1,061,000 is comprised of the following components:

On September 29, 2020, a Transfer of Appropriation was approved to move $40,000 from 800 MHz Radio Replacement Project (10.10.0009) to Onyx Peak Solar Upgrade Project (10.10.0175) (Project) increasing the Project budget from $1,021,000 to $1,061,000. The revised total project budget of $1,061,000 is funded from Discretionary General Funding that is included in the overall budget for the 800 MHz Radio Replacement project (10.10.0009) as previously approved by the Board of Supervisors (Board) as part of the 2020-21 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
