RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Adopt Resolution creating the following Municipal Advisory Council:
a. Bloomington Municipal Advisory Council
2. Direct the Clerk of the Board to post a notice of vacancy pursuant to the Maddy Act for members of the following Municipal Advisory Council:
a. Bloomington Municipal Advisory Council - 5 members and 1 alternate

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not require the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Sufficient appropriation exists within the Fifth District's 2020-21 budget to fund any cost related to this action.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Pursuant to San Bernardino County Code 12.4501 et seq., all Municipal Advisory Councils and Advisory Committees dissolve upon the end of each term of the County Supervisor who represents the district in which the respective Municipal Advisory Council or Advisory Committee is located or upon the effective date of the establishment of a new Supervisorial District as a result of redistricting. Due to the end of the term of Supervisor Josie Gonzales, the Bloomington Municipal Advisory Council dissolved December 7, 2020, and the Board of Supervisors' action is required to re-establish the Bloomington Municipal Advisory Council.
