Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 17-892 with Siemens Industry, Inc. to increase the contract by $9,420 from $1,635,444 to $1,644,864 to provide maintenance and service to heating, ventilation and air conditioning control systems at two additional locations.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of Amendment No. 2 to Contract No. 17-892 will not require additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). This amendment increases the total contract amount by $9,420. Sufficient appropriation is included in the Real Estate Services Department - Facilities Management (FM) 2020-21 budget (Cost center 7302001000) and will be included in future recommended budgets. BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The amendment to Contract No. 17-892 with Siemens will provide for monthly HVAC control systems preventative maintenance and service at two additional County-owned locations as follows:
o Hall of Records - 222 W. Hospitality Lane, San Bernardino
o High Desert Fleet Services - 15000 Tokay Street, Victorville
PROCUREMENT
On December 5, 2017 (Item No. 48), the Board of Supervisors (Board) approved Contract No. 17-892 with Siemens Industry, Inc. as specialized equipment services for HVAC control systems maintenance at 41 County-owned locations. On November 6, 2018 (Item No. 47), the Board approved Amendment No. 1 to increase the contract total by $7,464 to provide maintenance and service at three additional locations. Amendment No. 2 to the contract will add two locations to the existing maintenance contract for a total of 46 locations.
