Recommendation
1. Accept the Joint Conference Committee meeting minutes of meetings held on November 5, 2020 and December 17, 2020.
2. Direct the Clerk of the Board to maintain as confidential the closed session documents of the meeting minutes described in Recommendation Number 1 pursuant to Evidence Code section 1157 et seq.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Acceptance of the Joint Conference Committee (JCC) meeting minutes will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost) as the JCC meeting minutes are non-financial in nature.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
On March 22, 1994, the Board of Supervisors established a JCC to serve as a communication mechanism between the Board of Supervisors as the governing body of Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) and the medical staff of ARMC.
On November 5, 2020, a JCC meeting was held. The minutes from this meeting of the JCC were approved by the JCC members at the meeting held on December 17, 2020. However, submittal to the Board of Supervisors was delayed as COVID surged causing ARMC staff and resources to be impacted.
On December 17, 2020, a JCC meeting was held. The minutes from this meeting of the JCC were approved by the JCC members at the meeting held on March 25, 2021. This submission to the Board of Supervisors represents the first available date following the processing timeline of the JCC.
