Approve Agreement with Press Ganey Associates, Inc., for participation in the Nursing Quality Outcomes Registry, in the amount not to exceed $65,000, for a total contract period of August 1, 2021 through July 31, 2026.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of the Agreement with Press Ganey Associates, Inc. (Press Ganey) will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost) as the not to exceed cost of $65,000 for participation in the nursing quality outcomes registry is funded by State Medi-Cal, Federal Medicare, private insurances, and other departmental revenue. Funding sources may change in the future pending any legislative activity related to the repeal and/or replacement of the Affordable Care Act. Sufficient appropriation and revenue are included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2021-22 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The recommended agreement will allow ARMC to continue to participate in the nursing quality outcomes registry as a data collection site for nursing quality outcomes and provide access to benchmarking data.

Press Ganey maintains a nursing quality outcomes registry with voluntarily participating hospitals and health systems, meeting regulatory compliance and accreditation requirements.
