Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 5 to Agreement No. 17-910 with Press Ganey Associates, Inc., for patient, employee, and physician satisfaction survey services, to update the survey methodology, add text message capability, and extend the contract for the one-month period from December 31, 2022 through January 31, 2023, for a total contract period of January 1, 2018 through January 31, 2023, with no change to the total contract amount of $2,125,661.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of the recommended agreement amendment with Press Ganey Associates, Inc. (Press Ganey) will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). There are no costs associated with this amendment. Sufficient appropriation and revenue have been included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2021-22 budget and will be included in the 2022-23 recommended budget.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (Center) to provide patients with satisfaction surveys. Per guidelines issued by the Center, surveys must be conducted by an independent organization. ARMC contracts with Press Ganey Associates, Inc. (Press Ganey) to administer surveys in accordance with the Center's guidelines, and in a consistent and efficient manner.
