Recommendation
Approve Cooperative Agreement with the City of Victorville to contribute $102,000 towards the $1,102,000 estimated total cost to apply chip seal on the pavement of various roads in the Victorville and Adelanto areas.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The Department of Public Works (Department) is funded by Gas Tax revenue, fee revenue, and other state and local funding. The estimated total cost to apply chip seals on Dos Palmas Road and Other Roads in the Victorville and Adelanto Areas (Project) is $1,102,000. The San Bernardino County (County) share of the Project cost is estimated to be $1,000,000 and will be funded by Senate Bill 1 Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) funds. The remaining estimated Project cost of $102,000 will be funded by the City of Victorville (City). Sufficient appropriation and revenue are included in the Department's 2021-22 Road Operations budget and will be included in future recommended budgets (6650002000 44H15107).
