Recommendation
Approve a Funding Agreement with Inland Empire Health Plan for Support Payments of up to $10 million for Arrowhead Regional Medical Center to implement the EPIC Electronic Health Records System, effective upon execution until April 8, 2022.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of the Funding Agreement (Agreement) with Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The Agreement provides supplemental revenue to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) for implementation of the EPIC Electronic Health Records System (EPIC System). Sufficient appropriation and revenue are included in the ARMC 2021-22 budget.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Approval of the Agreement will provide ARMC the opportunity to receive support payments for the implementation of the EPIC System during the term of this Agreement. IEHP desires to provide ARMC funding to accomplish the implementation of the EPIC System to further the shared goal of improving the organization of health care delivery in the County, through timely and complete data sharing across healthcare providers and systems.
