All fees are consistent with the 2021-22 Board of Supervisors approved fee schedule.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
On August 25, 2021, the South Fire Incident began in the Lytle Creek area in the San Bernardino Mountains. Due to the fire’s close proximity to Glen Helen Regional Park, an Incident Command Post was established there. The recommended Agreement between the Department and Permittee allows for the use of a portion of the Park whereby Permittee will provide compensation for the period of August 25, 2021 through the end of the Incident Command Post on August 30, 2021.
This revenue Agreement aligns with the County and Chief Executive Officer goals and objectives to operate in a fiscally-responsible and business-like manner by enabling the Department to leverage its park property resources to generate revenue. Additionally, the Agreement aligns with the goals to provide for the safety, health and social service needs of County residents and to pursue County goals and objectives by working with other agencies.
