RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve Amendment No. 1, effective November 16, 2021, to Citrix Software License Review Closure Agreement No. 19-723 with Citrix Systems, Inc., for Qualifying Minimum Purchase Discounts under the Enterprise License Program, increasing the total contract amount by $963,071, from $768,600 to $1,731,671, and extending the contract term for an additional three years, through December 30, 2024.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The cost of $963,071 is funded by State Medi-Cal, Federal Medicare, private insurances, and other departmental revenue. Funding sources may change in the future pending any legislative activity related to the repeal and/or replacement of the Affordable Care Act. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2021-22 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
This amendment will allow ARMC to upgrade the current security and performance analytics and obtain discount pricing on Citrix Workspace Services. Through this upgrade, ARMC will improve operational efficiencies by streamlining and automating routine tasks such as running and accessing applications through a server instead of having the applications installed on each user's local hard drive.
