1. Extend the life of the Debt Advisory Committee for an additional four years.
2. Dissolve (Sunset) the San Bernardino County Trails Committee.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
San Bernardino County Board Policy No. 02-09 section (B)(3) states: "The Board of Supervisors shall review a Commission every four years to determine whether to extend the life of the Commission." The Clerk of the Board (COB) coordinates the periodic review of Boards, Commissions and Committees (BCCs) and for 2021 sent inquiries to the liaison agencies asking for their recommendations regarding the continuation or sunset of specific BCCs. Liaison agencies are typically County departments providing administrative support and coordinating activities of the BCC. The COB received responses from all liaison agencies and their recommendations form the basis of the recommended action.
The following table delineates the BCCs under review and the liaison agency making the recommendation. The Debt Advisory Committee is recommending continuance, and the San Bernardino County Trails Committee is recommending dissolution. The San Bernardino County Trails Committee has not met since 2013 and the Regional Parks Advisory Committee has assumed the responsibility originally assigned to the Trails Committee.
