RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Find that the Glen Helen Amphitheater Ticket Access Driveway (Gate #3), Mill and Overlay Project in the Devore area is exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act Guidelines, Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations Sections 15301(b) and (c), Class 1 (existing facilities).
2. Approve the Glen Helen Amphitheater Ticket Access Driveway (Gate #3), Mill and Overlay Project in the Devore area as defined in the Notice of Exemption and direct the Clerk of the Board to file and post the Notice of Exemption.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The requested actions are administrative in nature with minimal financial impact to the Department of Public Works (Department). The Glen Helen Amphitheater Ticket Access Driveway (Gate #3), Mill and Overlay Project (Project) will be funded by the use of the Community Service Upgrades General Fund Reserve. The San Bernardino County Regional Parks Department will request approval to utilize these Reserves at a later time, as needed.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Project involves milling the existing pavement and overlaying with new asphalt concrete on the ticket access driveway at Gate #3 to the Glen Helen Regional Park Amphitheater. Other improvements include removing and replacing handrails, installation of a cut-off wall,...
