RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Approve the specifications for the Glen Helen Amphitheater Ticket Access Driveway Gate #3, Mill and Overlay Project in the Devore area.
2. Authorize the Director of the Department of Public Works to advertise the Glen Helen Amphitheater Ticket Access Driveway Gate #3, Mill and Overlay Project in the Devore area for bids.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The Glen Helen Amphitheater Ticket Access Driveway Gate #3 Mill and Overlay Project (Project) will be funded by the use of the Community Service Upgrades General Fund Reserve. The Board of Supervisors (Board) authorized the San Bernardino County Regional Parks Department (Regional Parks) to utilize these Reserves on December 7, 2021 (Item No. 57).

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Project involves milling the existing pavement and overlaying with new asphalt concrete on the ticket access driveway at Gate #3 to the Glen Helen Regional Park Amphitheater. Other improvements include removing and replacing handrails, installation of a cut-off wall, and applying fog seal to existing asphalt concrete dike. All work for the Project will be done within the existing Regional Parks property.
