RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve the following contract amendments to incorporate the contractor's, Guadalupe Medina dba Santa Fe Building Maintenance, legal name change to Santa Fe Janitorial Maintenance Services, Inc., effective February 8, 2022, with no other changes to the contract amount or terms and conditions:
1. Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 21-668;
2. Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 21-669; and
3. Amendment No. 1 to Contract No. 21-670.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of the recommended contract amendments will not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). There is no cost associated with amending the contracts to reflect the new legal name of Santa Fe Janitorial Maintenance Services, Inc.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Real Estate Services Department - Facilities Management (RESD-FM) is responsible for providing custodial services for San Bernardino County (County) owned and some leased facilities. Due to the number of buildings that require service and the geographical size of the County, private custodial service providers are contracted to service certain locations throughout the County.
On December 10, 2021, Guadalupe Medina dba Santa Fe Building Maintenance notified RESD-FM of its legal name change to Santa Fe Janitorial Maintenance Services, Inc. (Santa Fe) and provided RESD-FM with the new federal taxpayer identification number....
