RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Accept amended grant award agreement, Amendment No. 3 to County Agreement No. 18-95 (State Agreement No. 17-10343 A03), effective July 1, 2021, from the California Department of Public Health for Immunization Local Assistance funding for continued support of COVID-19 countywide vaccination services, increasing the award amount by $19,484,950, from $3,397,084 to $22,882,034, with no change to the total period of July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2022.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item does not impact Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The increase of $19,484,950 to the grant award from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) in Immunization Local Assistance supplemental funds does not require a match. Approval of the necessary budget adjustments to the Department of Public Health's (DPH) 2021-22 budget is not requested at this time, but will be included on a future quarterly countywide budget report presented to the Board of Supervisors (Board) for approval. Funds will be used to reimburse costs incurred from July 1, 2021, and are anticipated to be fully expended by June 30, 2022.
