RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
1. Approve the purchase of a secure vehicle from San Bernardino County Fleet Management in the amount of $33,000 to transport inmates or uncooperative witnesses to the Superior Court for court proceedings.
2. Authorize the Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector to post the appropriation adjustments to the District Attorney's 2021-22 budget as identified in the Financial Impact section (Four votes required).

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The District Attorney (Department) will use salary savings in the amount of $33,000 from its 2021-22 budget to fund the purchase of a Ford Explorer, VIN No. 1FMSK8BB4NGA79361, from San Bernardino County (County) Fleet Management.

Approval of Recommendation No. 2, authorizes the Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector to make the following budget adjustments necessary to purchase the vehicle:
