RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve contracts with the following 17 agencies to provide housing services to adult offenders for a total aggregate amount of $16,000,000 for the period of July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2027:

11. Molding Hearts.Org
12. Optima Transitional, Inc.
13. Restoration House of Refuge, Inc.
14. Social Science Services, Inc. dba Cedar House Life Change Center

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this item will not result in the use of additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Costs for the provision of housing services to adult offenders over the five-year period will be fully funded by State Realignment funding received under Assembly Bill (AB) 109. Adequate appropriation and revenue has been included in the Probation Department's (Department) 2022-23 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.
