Approve Agreement with Jet Medical Electronics, Inc. for the lease and service of Patient Monitoring Telemetry System equipment for a total cost not-to-exceed $1,013,400 for the term of August 27, 2022 through August 26, 2027.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of the item will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The total cost not to exceed $1,013,400 is funded by State Medi-Cal, Federal Medicare, private insurances, and other departmental revenue. Funding sources may change in the future pending any legislative activity related to the repeal and/or replacement of the Affordable Care Act. Sufficient appropriation and revenue are included in the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) 2022-23 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
This agreement with Jet Medical Electronics, Inc. (Jet Medical) will allow ARMC to lease and receive repairs and preventative maintenance on Patient Monitoring Telemetry System equipment. A Patient Monitoring Telemetry System allows medical staff to monitor multiple patients at a time without the need to be physically present in the same room as the patient. Patient telemetry monitors are portable boxes that are attached to patients. The monitors display heart rhythm and rate in a format that nurses, technicians, and doctors can monitor.
