Recommendation
Acting as the governing body of the San Bernardino County Fire Protection District, approve revenue agreement with the City of Victorville for their participation in the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program from September 11, 2022, through June 30, 2027, in the total compensation amount not to exceed $761,019.36.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
Approval of this revenue agreement will not result in the use of Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). The City of Victorville (Victorville) will compensate the San Bernardino County Fire Protection District (SBCFPD), Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Section a total of $761,019.36 over the term of the agreement for the cost of their participation in the HHW Collection Program. The following reflects the annual compensation amount for HHW services in Victorville.

The annual amount for the first year is prorated due to the agreement's start date. The amounts above include annual inflationary increases ranging from 3.25% to 4.0%. The amounts also include an annual discount of $13,200 as reimbursement to Victorville for some of its staffing costs at the HHW facility.
