RECOMMENDATION(S)
Recommendation
Approve contract with Children's Fund, Incorporated, to support programs and projects for at-risk children and youth served by San Bernardino County, in an amount not to exceed $1,199,243, for the period of September 21, 2022 through June 30, 2025.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
This item does not require additional Discretionary General Funding (Net County Cost). Under the terms of the agreement, Children's Fund, Incorporated, (Children's Fund) has committed to fund programs and projects benefiting children and youth referred by San Bernardino County (County) at a 2-to-1 ratio (Children's Fund contributes two dollars for every one dollar the County contributes). The maximum cost for this contract is $1,199,243 and is funded 80% ($955,625) with Realignment funds and 20% ($243,618) with Net County Cost. Adequate appropriation and revenue have been included in the Human Services Administrative Claim 2022-23 budget and will be included in future recommended budgets.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Since 2011, Children and Family Services (CFS) has referred at-risk children and youth for programs and services supported by Children's Fund as part of a public/private collaborative.
